Five Landcare Groups initiated Yarram Yarram Catchments Network in 1995; today the Network has 11 groups and employs support staff. The Network is community run and is managed by a committee of representatives from each Landcare group in our region.

The Lake Wellington Landcare Network is made up of 3 sub networks, Maffra & Districts Landcare Network, Central Latrobe Landcare Network and West Gippsland Landcare Network. There are a total of 35 Landcare groups in the Lake Wellington Landcare Network.

The South Gippsland Landcare Network covers 4,000 sq Kms across the South Gippsland and Bass Coast shire areas. From Phillip Island in the West across to Welshpool in the East and from Mirboo North, down to our southern most group at Yanakie near Wilson's Promontory. Within these two shires there are thirty-two landcare groups, tackling a wide range of land management issues.
